How Paradigm Shift Started

In 2017, Adrian Martinez and Veronna Corral were among the first selected to live in the new artist community Roderick Artspace Lofts in the Arts District of downtown El Paso, TX. This space was created by local partners including the El Paso Community Foundation and Artspace, a national non-profit that offers artists and creative businesses a live / work space to help the local community thrive through the arts across the country. This move greatly accelerated Adrian and Veronna's budding design careers as having the space and connection with fellow artists of all kinds kickstarted new inspiration for their work.

After working together on many projects before under Veronna's previous boutique design business name StudioVeronna, they ultimately formed Paradigm Shift in 2018 as their skill sets began to grow. They started to home in on their goal of becoming a team of creatives to offer a wider array of creative services that tailored more to established brands.

The following years, the studio has expanded with several new additions to the team starting with fellow Artspace resident Lucero Ornelas who now serves as our Design Director and leads all our projects.

We also collectively are very passionate about serving our local community through volunteering and helping the local art & design community grow in any way that we can. We’ve served on different boards and organizations including AIGA El Paso and the Artspace resident committee, as well as participated as artists in several events the past decade including Chalk the Block, Last Thursdays Art Crawl, and many art exhibitions including the annual Día De Los Diseños Muertos.
